Nepal Family Adventure

This low-altitude trek in the foothills of Annapurna is specifically designed for families. In each camp area, we join our crew and the villagers in singing, dancing, volleyball, and football. A pleasant walk through the beautiful Annapurna trails. You can enjoy a holiday with your family, children or with friends as well.

Nepal Family Adventure trek offers the complete family holiday experience, visiting historic sightseeing places in Kathmandu City and Pokhara Lake City and a wildlife safari in Chitwan national park.

The spectacular trip visiting Ghandruk Village’s largest Gurung settlements provided a lifetime family holiday experience! There is also time to discover the schools and local markets where cultural horizons are very different from our own.

During the trek, we enjoy the glorious rhododendron and oaks forests as we hike to the alpine meadows that offer spectacular views of the Annapurna range. After completing our trek, we’re heading to Chitwan to discover of the rhinos, elephants, and the Bengal tiger.

Chitwan is the richest wildlife reserve in Asia with an area of 932 square kilometers, established in 1973. In 1984 Chitwan national park was Elephant designated by UNESCO as a natural world Heritage Site in view of the scope and contribution of this Park. Wildlife safari is a fun and adventurous activity in Chitwan National Park

Arrive at Kathmandu

Welcome to the Himalayas! You will arrive in Kathmandu. We will meet and greet and take you to your hotel.

Today is free and rest day in Kathmandu, or you can wander around the city to get familiar with the surrounding. There are varieties of shops and fun places where you can hang out and enjoy the time.

Free day, trek preparations and gear check

Today, it’s free for sightseeing in Kathmandu. You may want to visit Durbar Square in the heart of the old town, where the old Royal Palace with its intricate woodcarving is located. The whole area is a labyrinth of temples and images.

The narrow alleys that lead away from the square in all directions, full of the most amazing variety of shops and stalls. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites, including the historic Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the famous Monkey Temple Swayambhunath and the Buddhist Shrine Buddhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world.

Today, there will also be a trip briefing with gear check. If you need to rent or buy equipment locally, there will be time to do this today.

Drive to Pokhara

Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the tourist bus station. The bus leaves for Pokhara at 7:30 am.

Also known for its panoramic views of Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) in the north, Dhaulagiri in the west and Lamjung Himal and Manaslu in the south, Pokhara is a lovely valley on the banks of the Fewa Lake.

It’s lower than Kathmandu and much less hectic, making it the ideal starting point for your journey. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk

Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurungs village, we will drive from Pokharah to Nayapul for about 1 hour. The first trail descends to Birethanti, passing the suspension bridge over the Bhurungdi River.

Birethanti is a nice village, initially the trail winds along the Modi River and the trail is flat up to Syauli Bazaar. Leaving the bank of the river, we then trek on a winding path till Kimche. From Kimche, the trail continues to Ghandruk, crossing Chane. Overnight at Ghandruk.

Trek to Tolka

After breakfast, our day starts first you will descend to the Modi Khola River bank near the Bee Hive teahouse lodge and cross the bridge, then the trail passes the hill terraced field and ascends to the village of Landruk. We’ll stop at Landruk for lunch and continue to the final stop for overnight stay.

Trek to Kande and drive back Pokhara

In the morning, spend some time at Tolka. Tolka is on the ridge, offering great views of Annapurna south and Hiuchuli, other mountain ranges. The hiking then begins to Kande. En-route, observe a great view of the Himalayas and lush green forests.

Upon reaching Kande, we drive to Pokhara, spend a night in Pokhara and enjoy the delights of Pokhara, taking a trip to a spa massage or listening to live music. Or simply relax in a quiet café, restaurant overlooking the Fewa lake. Overnight at a hotel.

Drive to Chitwan National Park

Drive to Chitwan by tourist coach and lunch at the safari resort in Chitwan. In the afternoon village walk and, in the evening, Tharu culture dance presentation of the local, which you will also participate and overnight at a resort.

Chitwan Wildlife safari Activities

After breakfast, canoeing in the Rapti River, this is a thrilling tour with chances to see marsh mugger crocodiles and numerous birds that inhabit on the riverbanks. Then we explore the Elephant breeding center.

After lunch, we continue to the jungle for a guided safari on Elephant. There will be an opportunity to see rhino, antelope as well as other wildlife as you move through the jungle. The evening is free to relax and stay the night at the resort.

Drive to Kathmandu

In the morning, bird watching tour (optional) after breakfast, departure to Kathmandu. It will take about 4 – 5 hours overland journey by tourist coach. And the gentle light brings us back to the bustle of Nepal’s capital.

In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant with culture show.
